If you want to see what’s taking up disk space on your Mac, use OmniDiskSweeper: Įxcellent utility. If you’re looking to remove a specific application with its associated files, get AppCleaner: There are plenty of free alternatives to what CMM claims to do anyway. No, it’s a program with a shiny candy-crush interface, which panders to user ignorance and OCD by making them feel better after they “clean their Mac” and get a lovely animation to tell them that. “It’s never caused any issues” is not the criteria for a good application and that seems to be people’s main defence for it.
